    A rebirth of sorts for 50-metre backstroker Andrew Jeffcoat


    The incumbent Commonwealth Games champion's qualified for New Zealand's 12-strong swimming squad to attend the world championships in Singapore during July and August.



    World championship debuts have been handed to Amber George, Savannah-Eve Martin, Louis Clark, Finn Harland, Zoe Pedersen and Milana Tapper.

    They'll be joined by Jeffcoat, Lewis Clareburt, Erika Fairweather, Caitlin Deans, Laura Quilter and Eve Thomas.
