Black Ferns flanker Jorja Miller's absence from their lineup for the World Cup semifinal against Canada appears to be due to a hamstring injury, after team officials were coy on the details of the injury

The New Zealand Herald reports a video posted on social media by a New Zealand Rugby contractor said she'd injured her hamstring, but the video was soon edited to remove reference to it.

Meanwhile the Black Ferns locks are keeping their wits about them after South Africa deployed a two-player lineout with just a jumper and a lifter, and then a full team line-up from the set piece in last week's quarter final.

Alana Bremner, accompanied by Maia Roos, says they're ready for anything.
