Fonterra's worst-kept secret has come as no surprise to farmers

Fonterra's worst-kept secret has come as no surprise to farmers

    Fonterra
    Fonterra
The global dairy giant has announced it's dropping its forecast Farmgate milk price again for the 2018/19 season.

It's revised the price from six-dollars-75 a kilogram of milk solids, to a range from six-dollars-25 to six-dollars-50.

Fonterra's COO of Global Ops Rob Spurway says although it was expected they want to minimise the impact for farmers.

He says it's important to advise them as early as possible, so they can make decision about their businesses.
