A new company aimed at getting Maori products to Chinese consumers is getting ready to kick off

A new company aimed at getting Maori products to Chinese consumers is getting ready to kick off

Eleven companies have come together with the help of the Government to create the Hui Maori Collective.

Chair Hayden Johnston says the online business will benefit both countries.

He says customers in China will be able to buy wine and honey and experience a slice of New Zealand - while being confident it is the real thing.

Johnston says the business will launch on the fifth of November in Shanghai.
