Hamilton's Mayor's praising the Government for keeping a pre-election promise

Hamilton's Mayor's praising the Government for keeping a pre-election promise

The start-up rail service between Hamilton and Auckland's chugging along - with the announcement of more than 92-million-dollars for construction and operations.

It's on track to get moving in mid-2020.

Mayor Andrew King says the 150-passenger service has been set up to succeed.

He says it's good to see it becoming a reality after about 18-months' work.
