Kiwi kayaker Callum Gilbert qualified for his third semifinal in four events on the canoe slalom world cup series

Gilbert's qualified 21st in the latest event in Germany, with the top 40 advancing.

He's the only New Zealander racing this weekend, with the rest of the national team choosing to skip the round to get more time on the world championship venue in Spain.
