A decision on Asofa-Solomona's fate is expected next week, but his chances of representing the Kiwis next week appear slim.
Asofa-Solomona's situation has split opinion after footage appeared to show him throwing punches outside a restaurant last weekend.
Melbourne teammate Suliasi Vunivalu was allegedly hit before the altercation, sparking the action.
That prompted Cronulla's Andrew Fifita to claim he would've acted the same way had a teammate been hit.
