    Police are treating this morning's fire on Auckland's Mangere mountain as suspicious


    Fire crews were called to the blaze just before 2am, which was covering 200 square metres.

    Police say there's no immediate threat to the public but there's some thick smoke in the area.

    People are advised to stay inside and shut doors and windows.

    Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
