    While at the time she had her blinkers on, Maia Wilson's grateful for some words of advice from Silver Ferns coach Noeline Taurua during one of the toughest times of her career


    The Northern Stars goal shoot has been named in the squad for next month's Nations Cup in England, after being overlooked for the World Cup in July.

    Wilson says Taurua sat her down and encouraged her to broaden her playing horizons.



    Wilson plans to be an option at both goal shoot and attack inside the Silver Ferns' shooting circle.
