The Wellington Phoenix's unbeaten run in football's A-League is now 6 after a thrilling 2-all draw with Sydney FC in the capital.

The 'Nix came from 1-nil down to lead 2-1 at half time thanks to goals from Reno Piscopo and Ulises Davila .

But an own goal from skipper Steven Taylor in the 56th minute brought Sydney level and helped them salvage a point.

Josh Junior has won the Finn sailing world championships.

Junior's become the first New Zealander to win the Gold Cup, claiming a six point overall victory after finishing seventh in the double points medal race.

Heading into the decider with a 16-point lead over nearest rival, Dutchman Nicholas Heiner , Junior only needed a top seven finish to secure the title.

However he had to come from behind, after slipping to eighth at one stage.

Compatriot Andy Maloney has finished sixth overall after crossing the line in ninth.
