    A woman and two children who were skiing on a glacier in the Italian Alps have been killed in an avalanche

    A woman and two children who were skiing on a glacier in the Italian Alps have been killed in an avalanche


    One of the children had been taken by helicopter to a hospital, but later died.

    Both children were seven years old.

    At least one other skier was injured in the avalanche in the Senales Valley but there are no reports of missing skiiers.
