A change of focus from women's issues to the environment for a former MP, who's received a damehood in the New Year Honours

Marilyn Waring was one of the first 15 women to be a member of New Zealand's parliament, after being elected in in 1975, aged 23.

She says every issue is a women's issue, but climate change is now her primary concern.

Dame Marilyn says she's disgusted by how her generation has left the environment for young people.
