Marilyn Waring was one of the first 15 women to be a member of New Zealand's parliament, after being elected in in 1975, aged 23.
She says every issue is a women's issue, but climate change is now her primary concern.
Dame Marilyn says she's disgusted by how her generation has left the environment for young people.
