Former All Black Adam Thomson has had to go through more than most to play Super Rugby again

The former Highlander has signed with the Chiefs just two years after been bedridden in a Tokyo Hospital with a serious spine injury.

Thomson says there were some dark days, but he was determined to make it back onto the rugby field.
