There'll be no 20-month wait this time for the All Whites to return to the international stage

New Zealand will meet Oman away on March 26 before facing Bahrain four days later with the venues yet to be confirmed.

Coach Danny Hay says it's exciting to have international football this soon after November's games against Ireland and Lithuania.

Meanwhile the hosting of the Oceania Nations Cup has been awarded to New Zealand for the first time in 18 years.
