    Hot form and versatility has seen Mark Chapman brought in as cover for the Black Caps


    The Auckland batsman has taken Kane Williamson's spot in the squad for the opening two ODI's against India, as the captain battles an ongoing shoulder injury.

    Interim Black Caps coach Shane Jurgensen, who is covering for a rested Gary Stead, says Chapman's form was irresistible.



    India's Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the ODI and test series with a calf strain.

    Game one from Hamilton is tomorrow.
