    Local councils need support in managing water

    Local councils need support in managing water


    The Auditor-General's released a report recommending a clear national framework to solve New Zealand's water issues.

    Water NZ's Lesley Smith says most small councils only task a couple of people with managing their water.

    She says you can't expect two people to cover water management for an entire city.
