As the school year's set to kick off... new resources are on the way to help students with dyslexia

Associate Education Minister Tracey Martin's revealed extra tools will be provided to Learning Support Coordinators as they start in schools this year.

623 Coordinators have been allocated to over a thousand schools around the country.

Martin says this announcement shows the Government's commitment to improving support for those who need extra help.

The new resources include videos, a handbook, a bank of non-Ministry of Education resources, and cater for both English and Maori speakers.
