    Heavy rain warnings are in place for Westland south of Otira

    Heavy rain warnings are in place for Westland south of Otira


    Rain is expected for the South Island today and will move into the North island this evening and tomorrow.

    But MetService Meteorologist Andy Best says the weekend front will be followed by more dry weather.
