    The Black Caps batsman has started his innings, after coming to the crease at the fall of Tom Blundell's wicket for 30 on day two of the first test against India.

    The hosts are 89 for two in response to India's 165.

    Taylor is not out 11 and Williamson on 32.

    Ishant Sharma has both wickets.
