The Opposition Leader is steering clear of any election speculation

The Opposition Leader is steering clear of any election speculation

Simon Bridges is chairing the Epidemic Response Committee, which allows the Opposition to scrutinise the Government's COVID-19 response.

He says it's too soon to comment on this year's election and if covid-19 will impact it.

Mr Bridges says we've got to focus on people's health and wealth now - and get through the next month.

The National Party leader believes there'll be more clarity in a month or two.
