    NRL players are preparing to accept a drop in pay as the game struggles to survive without games being played

    A new deal's expected to be signed today when players, clubs and the governing body hold further talks.

    It could see wages slashed by up to 87 per cent for the next six months.

    Former Brisbane forward Corey Parker says some players are doing other jobs to earn an income.
