The rugby league referees association has ruled out industrial action despite its disapproval of the NRL's one referee proposal

NRL officials are planning to reduce the number of referees from two to one, in an effort to save costs when the competition restarts at the end of the month.
Union chairman Silvio Del Vecchio says striking would be 'silly and out of line'.
He told the Daily Telegraph they hope to start discussions with the NRL as soon as possible, and they will continue to walk towards a positive outcome for both their members and the game.
