A long awaited 10 million dollar roading project in Albany has kicked off

The Medallion Drive link will have two lanes, including a new bridge, footpaths and cycling facilities, linking Fairview Avenue with Oteha Valley Road.
Auckland Mayor Phil Goff says this will create about 30 jobs, and a much-needed economic stimulus post Covid-19.
The goal is to improve travel times for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, relieve congestion and improve safety.
