The Tasman blindside flanker required shoulder surgery following last year's Mitre 10 Cup semi final win over Auckland, but he's finally ready to start his first game of Super Rugby Aotearoa when the Crusaders face the Hurricanes in Wellington on Sunday.
With a fully fit squad to choose from, and the emergence of rookie Cullen Grace, Blackadder admits he may have to be patient.
