European Champions League quarter-final draw throws up potential Bayern Munich and Barcelona heavyweight match-up

The European Champions League quarter-final draw has thrown up a potential Bayern Munich and Barcelona heavyweight match-up - assuming they square away their round of 16 ties

Bayern Munich will qualify if they protect their 3-nil first leg advantage against Chelsea at home, while Barca and Napoli are 1-all ahead of the second leg at the Nou Camp.

The Champions League will resume next month with a 'Final Eight' tournament in Lisbon.

Two quarter-finals were set by the draw with Germany's RB Leipzig facing Atletico Madrid and Italian club Atalanta up against Paris St Germain.

Real Madrid or Manchester City will face Olympique Lyonnais or Juventus in the other quarter-final.

City lead Real 2-1 heading into the return leg in Manchester while Lyon travel with a one goal lead to face Juve .
