Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield says a lot of people have been declining offers of a COVID-19 test

He says some don't think they need one because there's no sign of community transmission.
And he says the nasal swab can be quite unpleasant, so practitioners have now been told they can just do the throat swab if people prefer.
Bloomfield says everyone with respiratory symptoms should be offered a swab and accept it - to boost community testing.
