Our top health official says it's not scaremongering --to ask Kiwis to wear masks

The Government wants everyone to keep face masks in their emergency kits at home -- in case of a move back to Alert Level two.

Director General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield says it's all about being prepared.

He says we already have preparations for potential natural disasters like earthquakes or tsunamis -and that's not scaremongering.
