Auckland has seen record breaking Covid-19 test numbers

Auckland has seen record breaking Covid-19 test numbers

More than seven-thousand-800 tests were run on Wednesday after the supercity moved into Alert Level Three.

The central city testing station will be moved from Eden Terrace to Eden Park this morning to ease congestion.

Whanau Ora Community Clinic Director George Ngatai is pleased with the number of people being tested.

He says they had a lot of people come through and by day two they were prepared to manage the numbers appropriately.
