Another bump in the road for Queenstown

Another bump in the road for Queenstown

With Auckland in level three many visitors have cancelled their trips to the tourist centre.

Destination Queenstown chief executive Ann Lockhart says the town had a very strong Queens Birthday weekend, followed by the school holidays and business has remained buoyant since then.

She says the lockdown for Auckland is another set-back.

However, she says the upside is that it will be for a certain period of time, which wasn't the case the first time round.
