There are claims Fire and Emergency New Zealand's revenue loss - is adding insult to injury for the embattled service

The Government agency is mainly funded by a fire insurance levy and has suffered a 42-million dollar drop in income, as struggling businesses reduce or cancel property insurance.
But the Professional Firefighters Union says the 7 percent loss in levy is a reflection of its economic position.
