    Scott Dixon remains in pole position to win a sixth Indycar championship after finishing fifth in this morning's second race of the double header in Illinois


    American Josef Newgarden finished second to shave 21 points off Dixon's overall series lead.

    The Kiwi now leads Newgarden by 96 points adn there are likely to be five races to complete the season if a double header at Mi9d-Ohio is reinstated as expected.
