    Wellington City Council is monitoring a suburban brothel, and has for months, following community concerns


    Johnsonville residents have complained about cars being parked on footpaths and clients, or staff, sleeping in vehicles nearby.

    Council spokesman, Richard MacLean, says residential brothels aren't illegal, but there are rules governing such things as how many people can be there.

    e says the council's taking a range of advice on what action can be taken.
