    The western conference finals have been confirmed in ice hockey's Stanley Cup playoffs


    The Vegas Golden Knights have scored three goals in the third period to beat the Vancouver Canucks 3-nil in their second round game seven match.

    It sees them take the series 4-3.

    They'll face the Dallas Stars for a spot in the Stanley Cup finals, after they pipped the Colorado Avalanche 5-4 in game seven of their series.
