    A person has died after a mysterious incident just north of Kaikoura

    A person has died after a mysterious incident just north of Kaikoura


    Emergency services were called to a rural address on Factory Road in Hapuku just before 2.30 - to reports a person had been injured.

    Police say the person was taken to Kaikoura for medical care, but sadly died.

    The death will be referred to the Coroner.
