Labour wants to target high-value overseas investments like Microsoft - to inject life into the post-Covid economy

Jacinda Ardern says they'll engage with key sectors who have a direct benefit to New Zealand.

She says it's not just about people... but also involves domiciling companies here with the potential to employ Kiwis.

The first phase of the strategy would be to step up New Zealand Trade and Enterprise funding by 12 million dollars a year... and the Innovative Partnerships programme.
