    The Mahurangi mud has turned two people into sitting ducks for police


    Emergency services responded to reports of a woman stuck in the mud in Mahurangi River near Warkworth, after apparently going to collect shells around 1 yesterday afternoon.

    After being rescued, Police determined she and the man she was with, had warrants to arrest.

    They were taken to the Henderson Police Station and are due in court today.
