Affordable Kiwibuild apartments are hot on the market in Auckland

Colliers International's Auckland Apartment Project survey shows Kiwibuild projects in suburban areas, have been selling five times faster than non-Kiwibuild apartments in the first half of this year.

National director Pete Evans says Kiwibuild has also ensured residential construction stays afloat, with new housing projects during the Covid-19 lockdown.

He says during that period, registrations for new projects actually went up.
