    Levin businesses are dealing with thousands of dollars of water damage and multiple missing taps


    A 21-year-old man will reappear in court in relation to 14 burglaries involving involving taps from approximately 20 premises - including churches and schools.

    Police say the water supply was generally left on, leading to flooding.

    Master Plumbers Association Wellington president Dave Norriss says the cost of water damage racks up quickly -especially if fixtures like carpets get wet..
