New Zealand Rugby has reacted for the first time to the South African Union's decision to take its teams out of Super Rugby and an expanded Pro 14 competition in Europe
30 September 2020
In a statement NZR Chief Executive Mark Robinson says South Africa's position comes as no surprise given SARU has signalled for some time now they were looking at aligning with the Northern Hemisphere season.
Robinson says all of the SANZAAR partners had agreed to look at more domestically related competitions in 2020 and 2021.
