It's the last chance for skiers and snowboarders to shred the slopes at the Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables

It's the last chance for skiers and snowboarders to shred the slopes at the Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables

The winter ski season finishes today, and it's turned out to be outstanding - despite Covid-19 putting things up in the air five months ago.

NZ Ski manager James McKenzie says they weren't sure if they could open at the start of the season.

But he says they had a record opening weekend at Mt Hutt in June.

He says it was a topsy turvy season, but it's turned out really well.
