The 19-year-old sprint sensation has suffered a suspected broken arm after falling off a bike.
Coach Gary Henley-Smith expects Osei-Nketia to be sidelined for six to seven weeks.
He says it's a real shame.
Henley-Smiths says the window to qualify for Tokyo opens on December 1, but they may need to ask for an extension due to an expected lack of preparation.
