Bob Saget has joked he was booted from ‘The Masked Singer’ due to voter fraud

The ‘Full House’ actor was unmasked as the Squiggly Monster on Wednesday’s (04.11.20) show but he joked he “doesn’t accept” the result as he wanted to stay in the competition for longer, echoing President Donald Trump’s allegations of fraud in the presidential election this week

He joked to Entertainment Weekly: “I don't accept Squiggly being rejected. I want the Zoom audience of ‘Masked Singer’ to revote because this is unfair. It's a fraud.

“Actually, I wish our democratic system had been as amazing as the dignity that ‘Masked Singer’ has, how strong and careful they are about everything…

“I still wanted to come back. I was kind of surprised that I got booted, but then you immediately make an adjustment about it. I was thinking that maybe there was a Zoom malfunction with the voting on it.

“Maybe the mail-in votes were not tabulated correctly.(sic)”

The 64-year-old star’s ‘Full House’ co-star Candace Cameron Bure had instantly recognised him behind the costume because of his dance moves – but he dismissed her excited message/

He said: “There's one I have a video of, and it's [his Full House costar] Candace Cameron Bure, and she goes, ‘Oh my God. That's you on ‘The Masked Singer’, isn't it?’

“That was last week, and this is a video she sent me of her screaming, ‘That's you! I know you! I know how you dance. I know how you sing. That's you! Oh my god, I can't believe you're on ‘The Masked Singer’. Oh my God!’

“And I wrote back, ‘No, and I don't know what you're talking about, Candace. Love you.’ ”
