    A 25-year-old's been arrested after a police officer suffered gashes on his arm and face in Flatbush yesterday


    Nearly a dozen police cars and ambulance rushed to the scene after being alerted to the alleged unprovoked south Auckland attack.

    The alleged attacker's been charged with assaults with intent to injure, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and failing to stop.

    He is due to appear in the Manukau District Court tomorrow.
