    Several crashes overnight have left multiple people injured


    One person has been seriously injured and another moderately, following a two-vehicle crash on the North-Western motorway in Te Atatu.

    The crash occurred between the Lincoln Road on-ramp and the Te Atatu Road off-ramp, at about 2.25 this morning.

    There was also a serious crash at the intersection of Tucker Road and Pilmer Road in Makauri, Gisborne, just after three am.

    One vehicle was involved and one person has been transported to hospital in a critical condition.
