A chiropractor's in hot water after starting a sexual relationship with a patient - that lasted two and a half years

The Deputy Health and Disability Commissioner's ruled it crossed professional boundaries and ethical standards.
The Chiropractic Board states members can't have sexual relationships with patients, unless they are treating a spouse or partner.
Deputy Commissioner Rose Wall says maintaining boundaries is an integral part of providing health services.
She's recommended the practitioner enter a six-month mentorship and education plan with the board.
