Chrissy Teigen has taken a shower for the first time since losing her baby

The 35-year-old model has taken to Instagram to reveal she's returned to showering, having previously been forced to use a bath after losing her baby in September

Appearing in a robe with a towel on her head, Chrissy said on Instagram Stories: "I just had my first shower in like two months.

"I've been taking baths because I couldn't stand to be in the shower - I couldn't, like, physically stand in the shower. I feel really really good."

Chrissy - who celebrated her 35th birthday on Monday (30.11.20) - also thanked her social media followers for their kind messages.

She said: "Thank you for all my happy birthday wishes. Thank you. I feel very clear and very good."

Chrissy - who has Luna, four, and Miles, two, with husband John Legend - previously discussed the heartbreak of losing her baby in an emotional Instagram post.

She wrote: "We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.

"We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever. (sic)"

Chrissy also insisted that her family will "get through" the heartbreak.

She said: "We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we’ve been able to experience. But everyday can’t be full of sunshine. On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it. (sic)"
