    Criminal justice group Just Speak has joined the voices calling for Corrections Minister Kelvin Davis to get involved and work towards de-escalating the situation


    Director Tania Sawicki Mead says successful negotiations need to start with a foundation of trust.

    She says there should also be an acknowledgement - and commitment to change - of what the prisoners are asking for.
