Manchester City have gone to the top of the Premier League ladder for the first time this season

Manchester City have gone to the top of the Premier League ladder for the first time this season

They've beaten Aston Villa 2-nil courtesy of a 79th minute goal from Bernardo Silva and a late penalty from Ilkay Gundogan .

The victory moves City ahead of Leicester on goal difference but their stay at the top might be short-lived.

Manchester United can reclaim the lead if they beat Fulham from 9.15.
