    A firearms incident is underway in Papatoetoe, prompting a big police turnout.


    Police have been in the Avis Avenue area since just before 6pm after reports a gun had been fired there

    The armed offender's squad is in the area, and a police helicopter is also hovering overhead.

    The street has been cordoned off..
